A collection of six programmes from Willis's Rooms, King Street, form 1838 to 1885.
1837
Flyer for series of six chamber concerts. The flyer lists the performers "Messrs. Mori, Watts, Moralt, Lindley, Dragonetti", as well as un-specified wind players, vocalists and pianists. Various dates, January-April.
1854
Programme from "Scottish entertainment", described as an entertainment "… on the Songs of Scotland". Performed by Mr. Crawford and Mr. Land. July 26 1854.
1856
Flyer from "Scottish Poetical Entertainment". Described as "An evening Entertainment, illustrative of the Beauties, chiefly of Scottish Poetry". Performed by Mr. Charles Bond, with the pipers and band of the Royal Caledonian Asylum performing "National Airs". June 25 1856.
1866
Prospectus from three Saturday morning piano recitals given by Walter MacFarren. The prospectus contains repertoire lists for each concert. The vocalists involved with the series were Madame Parepa, Miss Robertine Henderson and Madame Sainton Dolby. Various dates, May-June.
1877
A programme and attached press cutting from "Mr. Welbye-Wallace's Morning Concert". The concert featured songs, arias, a duet, a quartet and various instrumental solos. The various soloists included Mr. Welbye-Wallace and a number of "conductors". July 11 1877 (3 pm)
1885
A programme from a concert organised by the Musical Artists' Society, entitled "Thirty-seventh performance of new compositions". The concert included various chamber, solo and vocal-ensemble items. June 6 1885
